Michael and Nadia’s story really can’t be told without first acknowledging another. Their close friend Brittany. Never the one to play matchmaker, taking it upon herself to set up her then manager Nadia with another good friend of hers…. Not Michael. 

Fate laughing, this would be all the spark needed to light their torch of love and lead the way. The years following would include adventures to Portland for the best chicken and waffles. A weekend drive to AZ to see the Lions play. Swamp tours, alligator po boys and karaoke in New Orleans. But none would be bigger than their greatest blessing. The arrivals of Logan and Mikayla. 

It was during this period that truly solidified their love and bond. The twins were born in the middle of the pandemic and early. Months early. Logan and Mikayla relied on their parent’s love, their parents leaned on each other.

Finding in each other comfort and strength. Just not the strength for government paperwork. So, ever the romantic Michael proposed on a Monday morning that getting married would be infinitely easier than filling out all the forms to prove they were a family. 3 hours later, on the second story of a small chapel in the city of Long Beach.. Nadia and Michael officially tied the knot in front of 4 of their closest friends. 

Since then the pair has seen the cherry blossoms in D.C., attended a wedding on a mountain and navigated the slalom course of life with twins. While this would suffice for most, Michael and Nadia have looked forward to the day when they could celebrate with their closest loved ones and the moment Nadia’s father could walk her down the aisle.
